Silver medalist of the 2023 International Serious Play Awards, CRISPR Cutout introduces the molecular mechanisms of a cutting-edge genome editing technology referred to as CRISPR that is designed to cure disease. The game was created to teach individuals how this technology effects the body, specifically to help patients undergoing this treatment better understand what is going on in their body.
Working with Drexel University's Institute for Molecular Medicine and Infectious Disease, I was responsible for translating medical drawings and diagrams into 3D models. I designed, modeled, textured, rigged, and animated these models using Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop. I also developed content throughout pre-production, animation, and post-production using After Effects and Premiere Pro.
